CVS and Kroger - $144.51 for $49.35!!

I had a GREAT WEEK between CVS and Kroger! I purchased $144.51 for $49.35! That's a huge savings!

If you need help shopping CVS, you can check out my original post.

Kroger was having their Mega Event where if you purchase 10 participating items, you get an instant $5.00 savings on your grocery bill. It's unlimited, so you can purchase as many sets of 10 in one transaction as you want. I did 3 sets in mine.

I also had several FREE coupons for items, that I received from emailing companies about their products. I'm working on a list to post to pass on. I've actually been working on it for over a year now, but about 2 months ago I lost my original list, so I'll need to re-write it. In the meantime, if you have a favorite brand, go to their website ans let them know!! Sometimes I only get thank you emails, but more often than not I get free product coupons or at least higher value cents off coupons than what you can find in the paper or online!

Here are two of my favorite Kroger deals this week:

6 packages of Whickas Cat Treats - $0.49 each (wyb 10 items)
Used 3 $1.00 off 2 MQ's from 1/30 paper
ALL FREE!

3 cans of Hunt's Tomatos - $0.49 each (wyb 10 items)
Used $1.00 off 3 MQ
$0.47 for all THREE

Some of the CVS Deals I took advantage of:

Ragu Pasta Sauce $1.67
Buy 2 and use $1/2 from 1/30 Red Plum insert
$1.17 each after coupon

Skippy Peanut Butter $1.67
Buy 2 and use $0.75/2 from 1/30 Red Plum insert
$1.30 each after coupon

Lipton Green Tea Bags (20-40 ct.), Original (100 ct.) or Decaf (48 ct.) $2.50
Use $0.60/1 from 1/30 Red Plum insert
$1.90 after coupon
