Come CVSing With Me - Week Seven

For those following along who have $2.99 or $3.00 in ECBs here are a couple of ideas to score some more free items while earning ECBs back. (I am currently working on my own deal for CVS this week as I have over $14.00 in ECBs.)

Buy 1 Renuzit TriScents Starter Kit at $5.49, Get $2 ECBs
Use $4/1 MQ, if you have one for a total of $1.49

and buy

Buy 1 Cherry Ultimate Strength or Mint Ultimate Strength 12 oz. bottle of Mylanta at $3.56, Get $3 ECBs (These are ringing up at $3.56 at many stores, but be sure to price check these at your store to make sure they are ringing up at this price.) Use this coupon or the $2/1 MQ, if you have one for a total of $1.56.

Grand Total would be $3.05, use your $2.99 or $3.00 in ECBs and pay a few cents out of pocket, plus earn $5.00 back in ECBs!!

If you can't find either of the above, you could just do the following deal on it's own:

Buy 1 BodiHeat Pain Relieving Heat Pad (3 ct.) at $3.99, Get $3 ECBs. Look for $1/1 peelies on the packages of the item. For a total of $2.99.

Pay with your $2.99 or $3.00 ECBs and get $3.00 ECBs back!

Next week I'll go with $3.00 ECBs again and if I have time, I'll post for the $5.00 in ECBs also.

Come CVSing with Me - Week Six

A great week this week (for me) at CVS which I listed in a separate post! However if you have your $1.99 or $2.00 in ECBs, this week will be good also as there are several different options you can do. Or you can do more than one transaction and get several items free!

Start with purchasing CVS Cotton Rounds (25 count). Purchase 2 at $0.99 each, pay with your ECBs and receive $2.00 in ECBs back!

Then purchase Colgate Total at $2.99 and use this coupon or the $1/1 coupon from 2/1 Smart Source insert (if you have it), pay the $1.99 with your above ECBs and come out with $2.99 in ECBs.

That's more than when you started!

You could even do a third transaction and purchase a Gillette Shampoo or Conditioner for $4.99 and use $2/1 coupon from 1/18 P&G coupon insert and pay with your $2.99 ECBs and come out with $3.00 in ECBs!

And if you can find the Pringles Minis (1.58 oz.), and you have a $1.00 off of 1 Pringles Minis coupon, from the P&G 2/8/09 insert you can add them to any transaction above for free!

Next week I'll be working out deals using either the $2.99 or the $3.00 ECBs.

CVS Purchase - $50.00 Plus for Less than diapers!

I was exited today to head to CVS. I had no ad, but knew there was a sale on Huggies diapers which we needed. Today and tomorrow only the jumbo packs were on sale for $8.99. So in I went and I came out way ahead! I purchased the following:

2 packs of Huggies - $17.98

2 Clorox Bleaches (B1G1 for $0.01) - $3.00

1 Venus Spa Breeze Razor - $7.99

3 Suave Body Washes - $6.00

2 Herbal Essences - $5.98

1 Gillette Shampoo - $3.99

1 Pack of 3 Bodiheat Pads - $3.99

1 Secret Deoderant - $1.00 (on clearance)

1 Soft and Dri Deo. - $1.07 (on clearance)

Total = $51.00

Then I used the following coupons:

$10.00 off $50.00 purchase

2 $1.50 off Huggies coupons

$2.00 off Venus Razor

$1.50 off 3 Suave products

$3.00 off 2 Herbal Essence

$1.00 off Gillette

$1.00 of Bodiheat

$0.25 off Secret Deoderant

$14.98 in ECBS

Total OOP = $16.42 (after tax) Less than the cost of the two packs of diapers which we had to buy anyway!! Plus I earned $14.00 back in ECBs! What a great day!

Come CVSing with Me - Week 5

Okay, late again this week, but truth be told, I couldn't find anything I needed this week. Hopefully next week we will be much better. I hear Huggies diapers and pull ups are going to be on sale Monday and Tuesday for those of us moms out there with little ones.

Also, if you haven't yet signed in to CVS with your Extra Care card, be sure to do so. I received a $4.00 off $20.00 purchase coupon good through this Sunday! I feel a CVS trip coming on!

Come CVSing with Me - Week 4

I know I missed one or two weeks out there and if anyone is really following, I apologize. Between a sick child, being sick myself and having numerous other things to do, including my job, I fell behind.

So, if you have your $2.00 in ECBs still, here are a few good deals you can use it on.

1. CVS brand Children's Chewable Aspirin, 36 ct- $1.99, pay with your $2.00 Ecbs and
get $1.99 ECBs back.

2. Renuzit TriScents $5.49, Use $5/1 peelies found on some packages (if you can), spend only $0.49 OOP, Get $2 ECBs back. I would just pay OOP for the $0.49!

There may be a coupole of other options out there and if you find a good one, leave a comment!

If you have the $9.98 in ECBs, try putting together some other deals with coupons and paying only with you ECBs!

For now, I'm going to keep up with the $2.00 ECBs so I'm not spending too much time coming up with different transactions for different amounts of ECBs.

Hope one of the above works for you this week!
